The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haim goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Newgate is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Newgate's corner calls for a 1-2. Newgate obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Evron Haim has been cut.
Newgate lands a slapping body shot.
Newgate dips to his left and cracks Haim with an uppercut!
Newgate stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Some wild striking there from Newgate.
Haim feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Newgate's calf.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Newgate scores with a jab. Haim acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Haim takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Newgate lands a lovely overhand right.

Evron Haim's cut is getting worse.
Nice uppercut lands for Newgate. That snapped Haim's head back.
Newgate swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Haim.
Newgate lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Haim at a distance.
Newgate has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Haim is breathing heavily.
Haim shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Evron Haim's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
