Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Randy Swick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Torvald Gunnarsson!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swick leaves Gunnarsson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gunnarsson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Horrible takedown by Gunnarsson or perhaps it was just good defense by Swick which made him look bad.
Gunnarsson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Swick rushes Gunnarsson and presses him up against the cage.
Swick stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Gunnarsson blocks an elbow strike.
Swick has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gunnarsson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Swick just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
