The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
forde stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and forde wants it to stay on the feet.
forde shoots in looking for a takedown. Yen tries to sprawl out of it but forde keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yen manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Yen circles away from the clinch attempt.
forde dives in and grabs Yen's left leg, looking for a takedown. Yen pushes down on forde's head and hops out.

forde scores a takedown into full mount!
Yen is in a horrible position here. forde smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

It looks like Donnie Yen has been cut.
Yen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for forde on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
forde controlling his opponent.
forde avoids the attempt from Yen to control.

forde has hold of Yen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Yen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Yen is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Donnie Yen's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
