Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Ohlrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenta Kobashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ohlrich kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Biz Markie's- Just a Friend. Jon Ohlrich has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kobashi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ohlrich keeps the fight on the outside.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kobashi has eaten all the pies!
Kobashi loads up on a big right hand but Ohlrich slips the punch.
Ohlrich scores with a nice right hand.

It looks like Kenta Kobashi has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Ohlrich forces Kobashi back against the cage and clinches.
Kobashi wants to get back to striking at distance but Ohlrich won't allow it.
Ohlrich lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Kobashi backwards.

Kobashi jumps guard.
Ohlrich distracts Kobashi with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

That has opened up Kenta Kobashi's cut even more.
Ohlrich postures up and lands a big shot to Kobashi's brow.
Ohlrich will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ohlrich forces his way into half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ohlrich working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The cut above Kenta Kobashi's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Ohlrich is nestled in close to Kobashi, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Kenta Kobashi's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kenta Kobashi's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
