The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horvat takes a shot to the body in his stride.
A telegraphed right hand from Horvat misses the target.
Horvat shoots for a takedown but Book saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Horvat shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Book ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Horvat moves away.
Horvat darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Horvat decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Book manages to get to full guard.
Horvat stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Book swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Horvat trying to control the position from guard on top but Book is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Horvat avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Horvat trying to control but Book is working from the bottom.
Book tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Horvat will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Horvat drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Horvat jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Book pushes a forearm under Horvat's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Horvat is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
