The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kings pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Nice shot lands for Atwood.
Atwood swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kings shoots in for a takedown but Atwood shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Atwood takes a swing at Kings's ribcage but misses.
Kings shoots in but Atwood avoids the takedown attempt easily.
No joy there for Atwood, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Will Kings seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kings shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Atwood sprawls well. Atwood wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kings gets slowly back to his feet.

Kings seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Atwood does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kings seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Well Atwood has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
