PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Cushing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pat Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Twista - Kamikaze kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brown has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Pat Brown is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in for a takedown but Cushing shows good takedown defense.

Cushing gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Cushing turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Brown looks gassed!
Cushing scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Brown to see if he's OK.
Brown avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Cushing.
Cushing working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Cushing tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cushing has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Cushing passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Brown!
Cushing lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Brown is trying desperately to improve position.
Cushing trying to control but Brown is having none of it.

Cushing landing strikes from the mount and Brown is in trouble!
Cushing lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Cushing is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Brown is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Brown flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Cushing anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Brown and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Cushing slips an arm under Brown chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Cushing has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Cushing is squeezing on Brown like an anaconda would it's prey. Brown fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
