The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masiero throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Simpson misses with a low kick.
Simpson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A big left from Simpson misses.
Masiero walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Simpson checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Masiero chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Simpson on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Simpson is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Simpson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Masiero lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Sydney Simpson has been cut.
Masiero breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Masiero lands with a kick to the ribs.

Simpson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Simpson tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Masiero lets loose with a powerful body kick. Simpson will feel that in the morning.
Masiero throws a nice inside leg kick.
Masiero tries to close the distance and clinch up but Simpson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Masiero lands a head kick!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Simpson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Masiero.
Masiero lands a brutal head kick. Simpson looks out on his feet and Masiero throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
