Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Michael Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, TJ Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith shoots in but Coleman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Smith looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Coleman clinches up with Smith and pushes him back against the cage.
Coleman has Smith pressed against the cage, preventing Smith from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Smith looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Coleman manages to break the clinch.
Smith looks to clinch
and Coleman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Coleman clinches with his opponent.
Coleman lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Michael Smith has been cut.
Coleman jumps into guard, dragging Smith to the mat.
Smith takes a decent strike to the side of the head.
Coleman manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Smith manages to get himself to full guard.
Coleman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Coleman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Coleman throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Smith colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Coleman as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Smith is left battered and dazed whilst Coleman and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). TJ Coleman!
