Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Api Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vince Santiero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiero throws a right hand that Fox ducks under and follows up with a left that Fox also avoids with ease.
Santiero looks for the body kick but Fox saw that one coming.
Santiero bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Fox with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Santiero to score with a decent uppercut.

Fox looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Fox is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Santiero defends it well.

Fox wants to work for an arm triangle but Santiero is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Fox is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
