Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anderson Lewis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Evans!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Yves DeLean and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis shoots for a takedown but Evans saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lewis fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
John Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Evans has closed the distance and engaged Lewis in a clinch.
Lewis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Evans pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Evans breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lewis shoots for a double leg takedown but Evans sprawls well. He's pushed Lewis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lewis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Evans on the ground.

Evans changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lewis looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Evans bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lewis's guard.

Evans drops back looking for a leg! Lewis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lewis manages to kick Evans off! Evans jumps back into Lewis's guard.

John Evans comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Evans has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
