The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dos Santos looks to land a combination but Tinker avoids it well.
Tinker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dos Santos manages to avoid it.
Dos Santos scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Dos Santos lands with a cross.

It looks like Junior Dos Santos has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dos Santos throws a shot to the body.
Tinker takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Dos Santos thuds his right hand into Tinker's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Tinker tries to bum rush Dos Santos with a series of wild strikes but Dos Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Dos Santos tries to circle away but Tinker has him pinned against the cage.

Tinker is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dos Santos can't fight it off and eventually Tinker manages to take the fight to the floor. Dos Santos looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Dos Santos controls Tinker momentarily but Tinker frees himself.
Dos Santos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dos Santos is really struggling to control Tinker but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Dos Santos fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Tinker throws a lazy right hand but Dos Santos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Dos Santos throws an overhand right that lands on Tinker's shoulder, as Tinker tries to avoid the shot.
Tinker steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dos Santos.

A lazy left from Dos Santos finds it's target.
Tinker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dos Santos tries to avoid it but Tinker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dos Santos to the ground. Dos Santos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Dos Santos is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Tinker shoots in looking for a takedown. Dos Santos tries to sprawl out of it but Tinker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dos Santos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fighters circling - Dos Santos throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Tinker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dos Santos swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tinker takes one to the side of the head.
Dos Santos scores with a hook to the body. Tinker takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Junior Dos Santos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Tinker.

Dos Santos goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dos Santos throws a jab when Tinker was well out of range.
Dos Santos moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Dos Santos lands a left and a right that send Tinker crashing to the mat, dazed. Dos Santos thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Dos Santos throws a hook to the side of Tinker's head but Tinker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dos Santos drops Tinker with a naaaaasty hook - Tinker is in real trouble here! Dos Santos dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
