PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Winchester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winchester has chosen Dean Winchester Lip Sings Eye Of The Tiger as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dean Winchester!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wallace just misses with a punch to the body.
Wallace throws a lazy right hand but Winchester sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wallace tries to close the distance and clinch up but Winchester swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Winchester feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Winchester accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Winchester stops Wallace from standing up.
Wallace is trying to hold Winchester in close to prevent damage but Winchester has managed to pass into half guard.
