Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raul Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes into the arena with Escape The fate - This War Is Ours (The Guillotine II) blaring out of the sound system. Raul Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.
Nice defenses there by Silva.
Gracie wants to clinch.
Silva defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie swinging wildly here.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Gracie counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gracie.

Gracie lands a body punch in the clinch.
Silva has Gracie pressed against the cage, preventing Gracie from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Silva lands with a left to the head.
Silva will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gracie up against the cage.

A bit of stalling here from Silva.
Gracie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

so Silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Gracie looks gassed!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie wants to sweep but no luck.
Silva wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Silva throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Gracie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Silva is one step ahead there.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Silva lands a jab-cross combination.
Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gracie keeps the fight on the outside.

and Silva counters by clinching up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Silva.

Silva moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.
Silva doesn't manage to clinch there - Gracie circles away.
Silva moves out of range as Gracie strikes.
Silva tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Silva rushes Gracie with punches - Gracie moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Gracie goes down! Silva follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
