Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake colby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tauno Puukko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake colby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tauno Puukko!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puukko stuffs the takedown attempt from colby. colby gets slowly back to his feet.
colby fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

colby closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Puukko is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

colby gets control of Puukko's arms and successfully pulls guard. colby will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
colby could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Puukko won't allow colby to get back to his feet.
Puukko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
colby lands some strikes from the bottom.
Puukko distracts colby with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Puukko makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Puukko throws a big right hand that misses.

colby pushes Puukko off and scrambles back to his feet.
Puukko looks to land a left hand but colby moved out of range nicely.
Puukko throws a nice inside leg kick.
colby is breathing heavily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Puukko lands a big uppercut and colby crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but colby looks OK. Puukko waves colby back to his feet!

It looks like Jake colby has been cut.
Puukko drops colby with a straight left! Oh this is bad for colby! Puukko dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
