Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alex Moribunda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vitor Belfort will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Belfort looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Belfort has taken the fight to the clinch.
Moribunda has Belfort pushed against the cage.

Moribunda pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Belfort avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Moribunda fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Belfort sprawls well initially but Moribunda persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Belfort tries to throw a body punch but Moribunda avoids it by throwing Belfort back against the cage.

Moribunda jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Belfort walks away with a smile on his face. Moribunda gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Moribunda fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Belfort.
Moribunda throws a right and a left that Belfort avoids nicely.
Belfort rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moribunda moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Moribunda instigates a clinch.
Moribunda tries to pull guard but Belfort holds him up against the cage and eventually Moribunda drops back down to his feet.

Belfort jumps guard and drags Moribunda to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Moribunda controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Moribunda postures up in Belfort's guard and throws a big left but Belfort blocks it.
Belfort utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Moribunda working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Belfort's head.

Moribunda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Belfort escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moribunda gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Belfort pushes Moribunda off and scrambles back to his feet.

Belfort closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Belfort is looking to take a break and control but Moribunda is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Belfort is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Moribunda doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Belfort.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fight stays on the outside here - Moribunda looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
