Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

13 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Guti!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Guti has his foot on Rutger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rutger works his way back into a safe position though.
Rutger is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
It looks like Dan Guti has been cut.
Guti is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Rutger wants to control from the top but Guti keeps moving.
Rutger won't allow Guti to sweep him here.
Rutger keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Guti's head.

Guti is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rutger is aware though and is defending well.

Rutger postures up and lands a big shot to Guti's brow.

Guti manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rutger manages to get himself to full guard.
Guti looks gassed!
Guti drops back, looking for a kneebar! Rutger looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Rutger looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Rutger!
Rutger looks up at the clock and then as Guti takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rutger smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rutger moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Rutger works to advance to full mount. Guti defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rutger is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Guti can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Guti is still in real trouble! Can Rutger finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rutger looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Guti covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
