Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samiro Kahric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Stockbridge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kahric might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to B00M. Stockbridge has chosen Simply the Best- Tina Turner as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Samiro Kahric has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Kahric misses.
Kahric avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kahric shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stockbridge as he avoids it easily.
Stockbridge misses with a takedown attempt
and Kahric counters with a shoot takedown. Stockbridge fights it but they end up in guard.

Stockbridge is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stockbridge can do anything to dispel that myth.

Stockbridge is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kahric takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Stockbridge wants to control but Kahric is keeping him busy.

Stockbridge is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kahric knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Stockbridge in side control, throwing shots but Kahric defends.
Stockbridge decides to stand back up. Stockbridge steps back and let's Kahric get back to his feet.
Stockbridge shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Kahric makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Stockbridge really felt that one!

Stockbridge shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kahric as he avoids it easily.

and Stockbridge counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Stockbridge.
Stockbridge drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kahric pulls his leg out and moves away.

Stockbridge doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Kahric won't allow Stockbridge to sweep him here.
Stockbridge is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kahric wants to get up but he can't break Stockbridge's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Kahric drops back looking for a leg! Stockbridge is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stockbridge manages to kick Kahric off! Kahric jumps back into Stockbridge's guard.
Stockbridge looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kahric puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Stockbridge tries to roll over but Kahric keeps him under control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kahric slows the pace down in half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kahric shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stockbridge pinned against the cage. Stockbridge gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Randy Stockbridge dominated that round.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kahric jumps guard but Stockbridge stands there with Kahric around his waist. Kahric gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Stockbridge breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stockbridge closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Stockbridge is working to tighten is grip on Kahric's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Kahric has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Stockbridge is really squeezing tight and eventually Kahric passes out! Stockbridge breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
