Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Newman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kirk Megaphny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Newman has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Kirk Megaphny will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Megaphny as he connects with a hook.
It looks like Shawn Newman has been cut.
Newman wants to clinch.
Megaphny moves in looking to clinch but Newman pushes him off.
Newman slips a jab from Megaphny.
Megaphny moves into the clinch.
Megaphny lands a shot to the body.
Newman is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Megaphny lands a left hand.
A left hand lands to the body for Megaphny.
Megaphny escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Newman slips a jab from Megaphny.
Newman has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Megaphny finds it's way round the side to connect with Newman's head.
Megaphny lands a left and a right that send Newman crashing to the mat, dazed. Megaphny thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Megaphny moves in close and cracks Newman with a massive right hand! Newman, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Megaphny!
