Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyke Mison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Kerns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kerns has chosen Johnny Cash - Hurt as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mison changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kerns looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Kerns prevents Mison from moving into mount.
Kerns parries the strikes from Mison easily there. Mison is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kerns to escape.
Kerns tries to buck Mison off but Mison is having none of it.
Mison lands some shots froms side control.
Mison is working Kerns over with some ground and pound from side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.

Mison tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kerns is trying to control Mison's posture but Mison avoids it.
Mison laying and praying for a moment but Kerns takes advantage and regains half guard.

Mison prevents Kerns from improving his position.
Mison wants to take a breather but Kerns is having none of it.
Mison tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kerns knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Kerns tries to roll over but Mison keeps him under control.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
