Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shock N Awe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roland Deschain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). N Awe comes to the cage accompanied by Rooster. Deschain is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by nightrain. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
N Awe connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

N Awe throws a shot to the body.
N Awe lands a body shot.
N Awe misses with a head kick.
N Awe connects with a good right hand that stumbles Deschain. Deschain circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
N Awe throws a head kick but Deschain moves out of range.
Deschain misses with a head kick.

A telegraphed right hand from Deschain misses the target.
N Awe jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Deschain is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

N Awe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Deschain takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Deschain moves in looking to clinch but N Awe pushes him off.
N Awe displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Deschain.

Deschain tries to close the distance and clinch but N Awe swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
N Awe works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Deschain shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
N Awe throws a head kick but Deschain moves out of range.
N Awe fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Deschain misses with a shot to the body
and N Awe counters with a good low kick that Deschain was not able to check.
Deschain misses with a jab to the body
and N Awe makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
N Awe pulls out of a head kick attempt.
N Awe lands a big head kick that sends Deschain to the canvas! N Awe follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
