Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Harrison's choice of entrance music: Cut You Down. On his way into the cage it seems that Bob Barker has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Bob Barker seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Barker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Harrison shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Harrison was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Barker is trying to escape the mount.
Harrison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Barker is working hard here to advance position.
Harrison blocks Barker's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Barker is looking to improve his position but Harrison isn't that keen on the idea.
Harrison avoids the attempt from Barker to control.
Harrison wants to control the pace but Barker is squirming around nicely.
Barker is looking to get to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barker holds on to Harrison as tight as he can, avoiding damage.
Barker landing with some feeble shots from his back... He should probably try escaping the position instead.
Harrison lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Harrison trying to control but Barker is having none of it.
Barker is desperately trying to improve his position but Harrison has a good base and remains in mount.
Barker is squirming around, avoiding Harrison's attempts to control the action.
Harrison landing strikes from the mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harrison takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Barker is wriggling around trying to escape.
Harrison trying to control but Barker is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Barker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Barker wants to hold on but Harrison pushes him away.
Harrison looking to control but Barker is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Harrison controlling the pace for now.
Harrison looks gassed!

Barker wants to control but Harrison is having none of it.
Barker is desperately trying to improve his position but Harrison has a good base and remains in mount.

Barker manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Barker is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Barker wants to get back to full guard.
Barker makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Barker.
Barker looking for a sweep. Not yet Barker, not yet.
Barker manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Harrison manages to get himself to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Harrison can do anything to dispel that myth.
Barker passes Harrison's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Barker has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Harrison defend it? Barker steps over the head and cranks it - Harrison is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Barker!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Bob Barker!
