Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Negra Modelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temujin Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Modelo looks for a takedown but Khan sprawls well.

Khan rushes Modelo and presses him up against the cage.

Modelo manages to break the clinch.

Khan has managed to clinch.

Khan wants the takedown. Modelo is fighting it off but Khan persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Modelo's guard against the cage.
Khan wants to pass the guard but Modelo is keeping the position.
Modelo scores with a nice shot.
Modelo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Modelo is going to stand back up.
Khan is trying to maintain the position but Modelo is very close to passing his half guard.

Khan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Khan.
Modelo is pushing down on Khan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Khan is fighting to maintain full guard but Modelo has managed to sneak the leg through.

Modelo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Khan is proving hard to escape from.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Modelo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Modelo is pushing down on Khan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Khan is fighting to maintain full guard but Modelo has managed to sneak the leg through.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Khan is trying to maintain the position but Modelo is very close to passing his half guard.
Khan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Khan.

Modelo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Modelo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Modelo tries to free his leg and advance position but Khan is retaining full guard.
Modelo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Khan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Modelo.
Modelo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Khan has closed the distance and engaged Modelo in a clinch.
Modelo is working for takedown but Khan is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Negra Modelo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Khan keeps control of Modelo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Modelo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Negra Modelo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Modelo pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Modelo drives through with a takedown into guard.
Modelo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Modelo passes Khan's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Khan is trying to get back to full guard.

Khan has hold of Modelo's hands but Modelo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Modelo is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Khan is trying is best to control the position here.
Modelo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Modelo is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Khan has managed to free his arm - good work.
Khan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Modelo decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Khan, up you get!
Modelo cracks Khan with a hook to the temple - Khan is on wobbly legs here! Modelo swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Khan falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Modelo wins by TKO!
