The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Napiera swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Sato staying out of range there.
Napiera looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Sato is holding on to half guard well.
Sato trying to hold on to Napiera's head to control him but Napiera postures up.
Sato is looking to improve his position.
Sato works his way to full guard. Good work.

Sato has a closed guard, preventing Napiera from standing up.

Napiera trying to control but Sato is working from the bottom.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Sato is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Napiera is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Napiera throws a series of punches but Sato avoids them all with ease.
Sato needs to keep his hands up - Napiera had a free shot at his head there.
Sato thows a body shot but no joy.
Napiera tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Sato swivels and escapes.
Sato looks to land a combination but Napiera avoids it well.
Napiera shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The fighters circling - Napiera throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Napiera looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Sato swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sato closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Napiera to the mat! Napiera manages to get full guard.

Sato thows a big elbow that misses.
Sato is sitting in close to Napiera's body. Napiera has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sato is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sato is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Napiera.
