A fine choice. Smelly has chosen Calypso as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smelly misses with a two punch combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Awsome.
Awsome shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Awsome closes this distance looking for a takedown but Smelly circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Captian Awsome. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Awsome misses with a takedown attempt - Smelly sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Awsome tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Smelly slowing the pace effectively.
Smelly crunches a lovely knee into Awsome's ribcage.

Awsome tries to clinch up.
Smelly throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Awsome stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A head kick from Smelly lands but Awsome takes it in his stride.

It looks like Captian Awsome has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Smelly jabs Awsome right on the nose. Awsome blinks but takes it well.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Awsome. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Smelly throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Awsome is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
