Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fail Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fail Sonnen looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Sonnen as Norris shoots in.
Norris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sonnen is fending him off so far but Norris persists. Nope, Sonnen circles away and we're back to standing.

Sonnen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sonnen showed some decent athleticism there.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Norris is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sonnen is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

so Sonnen counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Norris looking to control but Sonnen passes into half guard.
Norris is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Sonnen jumps into side control!

Sonnen is staying tight to Norris's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The ground and pound from Sonnen seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Sonnen decides to stand back up. Sonnen steps back and let's Norris get back to his feet.

and Sonnen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Norris's guard now.

Sonnen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Norris swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Norris thows a left - swing and a miss!
Chuck Norris is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Sonnen pulls Norris into guard.
Sonnen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Sonnen keeping moving, preventing Norris from controlling successfully.
Norris looking to sit in guard and control but Sonnen gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Norris throws his legs up looking for a submission but Sonnen uses it to pass to side control.

Norris is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Norris parries the strikes from Sonnen easily there. Sonnen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Norris to escape.
Sonnen tries to advance to mount but can't.
Norris is looking to reverse the position.
Sonnen content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Norris is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Sonnen is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Sonnen controlling the position easily from mount.
Sonnen throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Norris regains half guard.
Norris wants to improve his position but Sonnen is controlling well.
Sonnen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Norris is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fail Sonnen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Sonnen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Norris was covering up waiting for the punch and Sonnen finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Norris is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Norris wants to control but Sonnen passes easily into half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Norris wants to control the action here but instead Sonnen manages to pass to full mount!

Norris tries to hold on but Sonnen postures up.
Norris tries to reverse the position but Sonnen maintains control.
Sonnen controlling the pace for now.
Norris is in all sorts of trouble here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Norris is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Sonnen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Sonnen avoids the attempt from Norris to control.
Chuck Norris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Sonnen controlling the pace for now.
Let's hope that Sonnen has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fail Sonnen has got the better of the ground game so far.

Despite being in the dominant position, Fail Sonnen just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A solid body kick from Norris.

Fail Sonnen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sonnen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
