Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Dinozzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake E Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dinozzo comes to the cage accompanied by Dinozzo the Womanizer. Anthony Dinozzo has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lee shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dinozzo pinned against the cage. Dinozzo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Dinozzo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dinozzo lands in his opponent's guard.
Dinozzo wants to stand but Lee has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Dinozzo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lee dives on top into guard.

Lee cracks Dinozzo with a solid left hand.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lee can do anything to dispel that myth.

Dinozzo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Dinozzo shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lee's guard.

Dinozzo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dinozzo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Dinozzo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Lee shoots for a double leg takedown but Dinozzo sprawls well. He's pushed Lee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lee shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Dinozzo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Lee is trying to maintain the position but Dinozzo is very close to passing his half guard.
Lee is looking for a sweep. Dinozzo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Lee is in trouble now - Dinozzo has advanced to mount!

Lee has his takedown stuffed
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Lee on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dinozzo. Dinozzo obviously looking to wear him down.

and Dinozzo moves into the clinch.
Lee fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Lee is looking to control Dinozzo's arms but Dinozzo gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lee has his back to the cage.

Dinozzo gets control of Lee's arms and successfully pulls guard. Dinozzo will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lee might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dinozzo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dinozzo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dinozzo is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Lee frees his head nicely. Oh but Dinozzo has switched to an armbar! Lee is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
