The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ADAMS lands with a straight right. Shugar didn't see that one coming.
ADAMS misses with the combination.

Shugar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
ADAMS jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Shugar walks away with a smile on his face. ADAMS gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
ADAMS dodges the punch combination from Shugar.

Shugar tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
ADAMS throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fight stays on the outside here - Shugar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

ADAMS tries to bum rush Shugar with a series of wild strikes but Shugar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Shugar throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and ADAMS counters with a crisp right hand that drops Shugar! ADAMS lets Shugar back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Shugar is rocked!
ADAMS looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shugar is still on wobbly legs! Can ADAMS finish him?
A jab from ADAMS finds it's way through Shugar's defenses.
ADAMS closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Shugar out cold! Shugar corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
