The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pierce decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Pierce feints and as Louis raises his hands in defense, Pierce changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Louis chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pierce can pounce on him.

Pierce darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
