Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heikki Mela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Greyci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greyci looks to land a body kick but Mela moved away.
Greyci dives in and grabs Mela's left leg, looking for a takedown. Mela pushes down on Greyci's head and hops out.
Mela throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mela misses with a wild combination.
A combination from Mela does no damage.
Mela dodges the punch combination from Greyci.
Mela tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Greyci paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Greyci fails with a takedown attempt.

Mela drops Greyci with a beautiful combination! Greyci stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mela is looking for the KO!

It looks like Daniel Greyci has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mela looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mela wants to free his trapped foot but Greyci is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Mela stops Greyci from getting back to his feet.

Greyci is trying to control but can't.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mela lands a nice short elbow.
Greyci is staying active underneath Mela, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Greyci can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mela escapes and gets back to his feet.

Mela is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Greyci is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Greyci wants to stand and escape but Mela is having none of it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Mela manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Greyci manages to get himself to full guard.

Mela stands up and beckons Greyci to join him on the feet.

Mela is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mela takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mela bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mela feints and as Greyci raises his hands in defense, Mela changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Mela wants to control from the top but Greyci keeps moving.
Mela slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Mela looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Mela has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee warns Greyci that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Mela lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Mela is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Greyci is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Greyci flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mela anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Greyci and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mela slips an arm under Greyci chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mela has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mela is squeezing on Greyci like an anaconda would it's prey. Greyci fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
