Smith avoids the head kick by Mako.
Mako swats away the attempt to clinch by Smith.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mako circles away quickly and effectively.

Smith drops Mako with a beautiful combination! Mako stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!
Mako is rocked!
It looks like George Mako has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Smith thows a left - swing and a miss!
Oh Mako is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mako throws a sloppy head kick and Smith moves out of range easily.
Mako seems to have got his legs back now.
Crack! Smith connects with the perfect overhand right and Mako falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Smith!
