Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henrique Castro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caeas Liege (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castro comes to the cage accompanied by Kreator - Hordes of Chaos. Liege has chosen Ecstasy of Gold as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Henrique Castro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caeas Liege!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Thiago Cunha and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Castro or perhaps it was just good defense by Liege which made him look bad.
Liege defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Castro.
Castro shoots in for a takedown but Liege shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henrique Castro. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Liege takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Liege closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Castro wants to sweep but Liege has passed to side control!

Liege working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Castro is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Liege pulls his head out easily.

Liege's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Liege prevents Castro from improving his position.
Liege is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Liege is working for a submission of some sort.
Castro is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Liege slows the pace down in half guard.

Castro actively working from the bottom here.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Liege closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Castro to the mat! Castro manages to get full guard.

Liege postures up in Castro's guard and throws a big left but Castro blocks it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Castro can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Liege controls the pace.

Castro has a closed guard, preventing Liege from standing up.
Liege won't allow Castro to sweep him here.

Liege got a little sloppy there for a moment and Castro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Liege has managed to get both his arms back between Castro's legs - danger averted.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Liege decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Liege controlling the action here.
I looks like Liege might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Let's hope that Liege has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Liege is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Castro actively working from the bottom here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caeas Liege dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Liege counters with a single leg into guard. Castro didn't expect that.

Castro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Liege gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Liege stays in close to Castro's body and controls the position.

Liege drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Liege jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Castro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Liege gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Liege is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Liege is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Castro has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Liege should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Castro has tightened it up now! Liege should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
