Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Alpha Mc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and royce GraciE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mc comes to the cage accompanied by ser. Alpha Mc has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mc keeps the fight on the outside.
GraciE looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mc looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Mc looking to pass the guard.
GraciE working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mc doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mc manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Mc content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Mc is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
GraciE keeping moving, preventing Mc from controlling successfully.
Mc gets to his feet - GraciE follows without any prompting.

Alpha Mc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mc explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Mc throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

The referee warns GraciE that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Mc looking to control but GraciE is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Mc lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Mc lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

GraciE is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Mc postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. GraciE looks a forlorn figure.
GraciE is wriggling around trying to escape.

Mc lands a big shot there that rocks GraciE but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Mc postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. GraciE looks a forlorn figure.
GraciE is desperately trying to improve his position but Mc has a good base and remains in mount.

Mc can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as GraciE is looking to escape.

GraciE is trying to reverse the position but instead Mc has taken his back - oops!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mc throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting GraciE!
Mc keeps control of the position as GraciE tries to break free.

Mc is trying to stick to GraciE's back but GraciE is turning into Mc. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mc's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by GraciE.
Mc working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. GraciE doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. GraciE manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
GraciE misses with a takedown
and Mc counters with a nice low kick that buckles GraciE's knee momentarily.

Alpha Mc dominated that round.

GraciE thows a leg kick but Mc checks it
and Mc counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in GraciE's guard now.
GraciE is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mc is aware though and is defending well.
Mc gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Mc looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mc thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
GraciE tries to roll over but Mc keeps him under control.
GraciE looking for submissions off his back.
Mc seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but GraciE does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mc tries to stand but can't do so whilst GraciE controls his leg.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
GraciE doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mc counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

GraciE looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Mc is defending well. GraciE quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Mc has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! GraciE celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
