Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mahatma Gandhi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Rodriguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gandhi's entrance music is Hungry Like The Wolf. A fine choice. Rodriguez comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Anxiety kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gandhi swats away the attempt to clinch by Rodriguez.
Rodriguez doesn't manage to clinch there - Gandhi circles away.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Rodriguez.
Gandhi drops his hands momentarily and Rodriguez takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Mahatma Gandhi has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rodriguez dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Gandhi is breathing heavily.
Rodriguez throws a quick inside leg kick.
Rodriguez swings for the body but Gandhi moves out of range.
Rodriguez takes a swing at Gandhi's ribcage but misses.
Rodriguez throws a nice inside leg kick.
Rodriguez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Rodriguez lands a big right hand that sends Gandhi crashing to the mat! Rodriguez stays standing though and waves Gandhi back to his feet!

Gandhi is rocked!
Rodriguez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gandhi slips a jab and a cross from Rodriguez.
Rodriguez is looking to clinch but Gandhi is avoiding it.

Rodriguez rushes Gandhi and presses him up against the cage.
Gandhi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Gandhi wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rodriguez has him pressed against the cage.
Gandhi tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rodriguez's elbow.

Rodriguez breaks the clinch.
Gandhi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Rodriguez works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Mahatma Gandhi's cut is getting worse.
Rodriguez steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gandhi.
Rodriguez tries to clinch there but Gandhi circles away.
Rodriguez buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Rodriguez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gandhi sprawling to the canvas! Gandhi rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rodriguez finish him?!
Oh Gandhi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gandhi stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Rodriguez.
Gandhi seems to have got his legs back now.
Rodriguez bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Gandhi's head.

Mahatma Gandhi's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Rodriguez fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rodriguez throws a monster overhand right that drops Gandhi! Rodriguez follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
