Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Josh Hammor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers shoots in but Hammor avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hammor throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Powers sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Powers keeps the fight on the outside.
Powers dives in and grabs Hammor's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hammor pushes down on Powers's head and hops out.
Hammor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Powers circles away quickly and effectively.
Hammor lands a nice leg kick that just misses Powers's sensitive parts.
Hammor tries to clinch up.
Powers has a takedown stuffed.
Josh Hammor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Powers.
Hammor fakes the leg kick and cracks Powers in the body.
Powers looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hammor throws a head kick but Powers moves out of range.
Hammor will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Hammor shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Hammor is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Hammor wants to pass to mount but Powers is defending the position.

Hammor wants to take a breather but Powers is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hammor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Powers keeps working.

Hammor seems to be looking for submissions.
Powers makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Powers.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hammor forces his way into half guard.
Powers is refusing to be controlled, as Hammor sits in half guard.
Powers is looking for a sweep. Hammor is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Powers's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Powers is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hammor pulls his head out easily.
Hammor wants to pass to mount but Powers is defending the position.
Powers is trying to maintain the position but Hammor is very close to passing his half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
A right-left combo lands from Hammor.
Hammor throws a wild body kick that Powers sees coming a mile off.
Hammor throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Powers.
Powers advances nicely into full mount.

Hammor is looking to get to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Powers sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Powers fails to take his opponent's back.
Powers tries to control but Hammor wriggling away.
Powers content just to control the position here.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Powers avoids the head kick by Hammor.

Powers feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Powers has his foot on Hammor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hammor works his way back into a safe position though.

Powers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Hammor has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Powers is proving hard to escape from.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hammor wants to pass the guard but Powers is keeping the position.

Powers looking for a triangle here. Hammor is fighting it but it looks tight! Powers pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Hammor is tapping out - this one is all over!
