The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pawn misses with a looping left.
Sobolev is looking to clinch.
Pawn misses with an uppercut.
Sobolev goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Sobolev clinches up with Pawn and pushes him back against the cage.
Sobolev is trying to force a seperation but Pawn has the dominant position.
Sobolev has Pawn pressed against the cage, preventing Pawn from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Pawn is looking to break free of the clinch but Sobolev has double underhooks.
Pawn tries to circle away but Sobolev has him pinned against the cage.
Pawn has had enough of the clinch but Sobolev keeps him there for the moment.
Sobolev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pawn throws a looping overhand right but Sobolev ducks down to avoid it.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sobolev is defended easily by Pawn.
Sobolev gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pawn.
It looks like Viktor Sobolev has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pawn pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Sobolev blocks a jab.
Sobolev slips under a jab.
Pawn misses with a straight left.
Black Pawn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pawn catches Sobolev napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Sobolev to the canvas!
Sobolev is trying to hold Pawn in close to prevent damage but Pawn has managed to pass into half guard.
Sobolev is looking to control Pawn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sobolev avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pawn tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Pawn decides to stand and escape the position.
Pawn misses with a wild body shot.
Pawn digs a good body shot into Sobolev's ribs.
Sobolev looks gassed!
Sobolev takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Black Pawn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pawn lands with a shot to the body.
Pawn scores with a body shot.

Pawn drops Sobolev with a big left hand and mounts him. Sobolev is in big trouble!
Pawn is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Pawn connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Sobolev out cold! This one is over in a flash!
