The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Cavalera. That snapped Kaira's head back.
Cavalera defending well as Kaira loads up on a big left hand.

Cavalera walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kaira lands a jab.
Kaira scores with a decent looking hook.
Aamo Kaira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cavalera looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cavalera tries to move into range but Kaira moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Cavalera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kaira takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Cavalera walks straight into a right hand from Kaira - that's dropped him! Kaira jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Cavalera from any more punishment! Cavalera complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
