The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daley connects with a looping right hand.
Daley scores with a nice right hand.
Daley doesn't manage to clinch there - Sanchez circles away.
Daley misses with a two punch combination.
Sanchez misses the shot to the body.
Sanchez tries for a takedown but Daley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Sanchez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Daley, pushing him back against the cage.

Daley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Daley tries to clinch but Sanchez moves out of range.
Sanchez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Sanchez fails with a takedown attempt.

Sanchez closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Tommy Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sanchez.
