Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcu Webb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bam Bam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bam Bam has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marcu Webb!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bam Bam!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bam throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Bam drives through with a takedown into guard.
Webb wants to stand up but Bam is controlling him.
Webb is trying to control the position but Bam postures up.
Bam thows a big elbow that misses.
Bam must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bam trying to control the position from guard on top but Webb is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bam is working Webb over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Webb avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bam with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Webb wants to stand but Bam is controlling the position.

Webb seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bam does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bam has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Webb is working away from the top position though.

Bam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Webb. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Bam closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Bam throws a strike aimed at the side of Webb's head but Webb avoids it well.

Bam seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Webb regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Bam.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bam throws a big right hand that misses.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Bam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Webb tries to avoid it but Bam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Webb to the ground. Webb escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Webb is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bam is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Webb avoids the attempt from Bam to control.
Webb can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bam is looking to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bam is looking to improve his position but Webb isn't that keen on the idea.
Bam Bam has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bam is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Webb looking to control but Bam is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Bam can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bam Bam showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Bam looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Webb with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bam in particular looking to stall.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Webb is looking to control Bam's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Webb avoid being mounted?

Marcu Webb has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Bam shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Webb manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Webb uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Webb gets caught flat footed, as Bam shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Bam Bam comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bam winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
