Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between blanka charlie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and johan granit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). johan granit looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, blanka charlie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, johan granit!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

charlie forces granit back against the cage and clinches.
granit looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
granit is trying to work for a single leg takedown but charlie pulls him back up using the underhooks.

charlie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
charlie motions for granit to come forward. charlie throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
An inside leg kick lands from charlie.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

charlie drops granit with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but granit looks back up at him and smiles so charlie waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like johan granit has been cut.
A good leg kick by charlie.
charlie lands with a thumping leg kick.

charlie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. granit did well to prevent charlie getting side control.
charlie is taking a breather. granit says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

charlie stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

charlie darts in and clinches granit up against the cage.

charlie manages to break the clinch.

charlie connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

charlie shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. charlie showed some decent athleticism there.
charlie working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
charlie landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
charlie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
charlie slips a nice elbow through granit's hands, connecting with granit's forehead.
Still in half guard, charlie seems content to control.

charlie works his way into full mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee stands the fighters back up. blanka charlie just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
charlie throws a head kick that granit semi-blocks.

A nice leg kick lands there from charlie.
granit gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

That has opened up johan granit's cut even more.
A punch lands to the side of granit 's head but he takes it in his stride.
charlie lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

granit is rocked!
Some wild striking there from charlie.
charlie connects with a nice looking jab.
granit is still on wobbly legs! Can charlie finish him?

The cut above johan granit's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
granit looks up at the clock. Bad move! charlie lands a right hand from hell, dropping granit. charlie pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
