Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Li Xiao Hu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Lawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xiao Hu tries to clinch there but Lawson circles away.
Li Xiao Hu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lawson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lawson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Xiao Hu is looking to escape.
Lawson thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Xiao Hu's head.
Xiao Hu wants to get back to his feet.
Lawson winds up and cracks Xiao Hu with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Xiao Hu has one foot on Lawson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Lawson swats away the attempt to clinch by Xiao Hu.
Lawson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Xiao Hu doesn't manage to clinch there - Lawson circles away.
Lawson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Xiao Hu tries to avoid it but Lawson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Xiao Hu to the ground. Xiao Hu escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lawson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Lawson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lawson lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Xiao Hu down.
Lawson is looking to take a break and control but Xiao Hu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Xiao Hu is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lawson asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Lawson lands a nice forearm strike.
Xiao Hu is pushing Lawson's head away, looking to escape. Lawson manages to hold on to the position though.
Xiao Hu is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lawson connects with a decent elbow.

Lawson wants to control but Xiao Hu is keeping him busy.
Xiao Hu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Xiao Hu tries to get out of the position.

Lawson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Lawson cracks Xiao Hu with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Lawson immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Xiao Hu is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Lawson!
