The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Cormier. That's going to slow Osandi down.
Cormier throws a series of punches but Osandi moves out of range.
Osandi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Corey Cormier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cormier throws a one two combo.
Cormier knocks Osandi to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?
Osandi is rocked!
It looks like CJ Osandi has been cut.
Osandi is looking for a sweep.

Cormier stands up and we're back to a striking position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Cormier misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cormier lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Osandi crumples to the floor! Cormier milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
