Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dolly Llama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Filipino Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Llama keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Saint blocks a head kick by Llama.
Saint misses with a two punch combination.
Llama throws a head kick that misses.
Saint takes a swing at Llama's ribcage but misses.
Llama tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Saint shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Llama's guard.

Saint drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Saint jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Saint postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Llama is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Saint, into his guard.
Saint will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Llama wants to stand up but Saint has a hold of him and won't allow it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Saint can do anything to dispel that myth.

Saint drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Llama manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Saint has Llama in his guard.

Saint working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Llama doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Llama manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
