Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between peter griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Wendler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). griffin comes into the arena with That's gangsta - Bun B blaring out of the sound system. On his way into the cage it seems that peter griffin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily peter griffin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
griffin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wendler steps to the side to avoid the strikes from griffin.
griffin throws a body punch but Wendler moves out of range.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wendler.
Wendler takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Wendler shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says griffin as he avoids it easily.
Nice uppercut lands for griffin. That snapped Wendler's head back.

It looks like Ryan Wendler has been cut.

Wendler dodges the punch combination from griffin.

Wendler closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming griffin to the mat! griffin manages to get full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Wendler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
peter griffin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryan Wendler.
Wendler takes one to the chin there.
Wendler shoots in looking for a takedown. griffin tries to sprawl out of it but Wendler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. griffin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

griffin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wendler circles away quickly and effectively.
griffin just misses with a punch to the body.
Wendler keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
griffin misses with a few strikes there.
Wendler tries for a takedown but griffin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
griffin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wendler misses with a takedown attempt - griffin sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Wendler takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Wendler has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wendler there as he acknowledges the shot.

griffin lands a big head kick that sends Wendler tumbling to the mat! griffin takes a step backwards and waves Wendler back to his feet - he wants the finish!

That has opened up Ryan Wendler's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
griffin lands with an uppercut that bounces Wendler off the cage and back into rage.

The cut above Ryan Wendler's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
griffin throws an overhand right that drops Wendler like a sack of potatoes! griffin dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
