The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis throws a one two combo.
Lewis works the jab nicely.
ST Pierre changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lewis tries to avoid it but ST Pierre manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lewis to the ground. Lewis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
ST Pierre shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lewis as he jumps to the side.

Lewis drops ST Pierre with a beautiful combination! ST Pierre stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lewis is looking for the KO!

ST Pierre is rocked!

It looks like Geoge ST Pierre has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lewis leaves ST Pierre with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Geoge ST Pierre. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lewis goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Oh ST Pierre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
