The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Jansson misses.

Masura gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Masura tries to score a body lock takedown but Jansson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Masura has picked Jansson up - he's going for a ride! Masura dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Jansson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jansson is on top in guard.

Jansson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Masura is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jansson, into his guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Aruki Masura will probably get the nod.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Jansson misses the shot to the body.
Masura looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jansson is fending him off so far but Masura persists. Nope, Jansson circles away and we're back to standing.
Jansson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Masura rather than just go for the knockout.
Masura takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Jansson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Masura, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
