The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jericho throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Powers dives in and grabs Jericho's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jericho pushes down on Powers's head and hops out.
Jericho tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Powers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jericho pinned against the cage. Jericho gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Powers tries to keep at a distance but Jericho has taken the fight into the clinch.
