The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bro's guard.
Bro wants to stand but Daniels is controlling the position.
Bro looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Daniels won't allow Bro to sweep him here.
Daniels postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bro is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Daniels, into his guard.
Daniels working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bro throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Daniels works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bro wants to stand but Daniels has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Daniels has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bro doesn't defend quickly enough and Daniels has managed to lock this one up! Can Bro escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Daniels on a fantastic submission victory.
