The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua looks to land a left hand but Mistric moved out of range nicely.

Mistric uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rua.

Artelius Mistric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rua might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rua misses with a hook. Mistric ducked under it nicely.
Mistric shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rua pinned against the cage. Rua gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Mistric. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Mistric is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Rua is defending well for now.
Mistric escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mistric tries to close the distance and clinch but Rua swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Nice uppercut lands for Rua. That snapped Mistric's head back.

Rua drops Mistric with a naaaaasty hook - Mistric is in real trouble here! Rua dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
