Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bas Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeke Stortz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stortz has chosen CkY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boom blocks a jab.
Stortz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boom sprawls well. Boom wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Stortz gets slowly back to his feet.
Stortz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Stortz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Boom circles away quickly and effectively.

Boom throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stortz was covering up waiting for the punch and Boom finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Boom postures up and lands a big shot to Stortz's brow.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boom controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Boom loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Boom might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Stortz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Boom doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Boom manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Boom is looking to work some ground and pound but Stortz has wrist control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boom got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stortz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Boom has managed to get both his arms back between Stortz's legs - danger averted.

Boom gets to his feet and stands over Stortz, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Stortz felt that one! Boom unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Stortz from any more punishment!
